The plot
Anders Björklund, a pre-retired investigative journalist, is found murdered in Vasaparken in central Stockholm. Criminal commissioner Anna Palmquist at the Stockholm Police Department investigates the case that soon turns out to be linked to a thirty-year-old unresolved murder of journalist Karen Ferm who, at the time, was living with Anders.

The involuntary spy is a thriller that with surprising twists links the 80’s with today’s Stockholm, Brussels, Berlin, Moscow, Cologne and Miami. A fictional story that goes along with real events. A dystopian depiction where both the past, the present and the future go hand in hand. It’s a story of betrayal, treachery, disappointment, love and political power game at the highest level.

H.L. Guerra, is an award-winning TV director and screenwriter and has worked for the Swedish Television and as producer and journalist on Radio Sweden. As author he has published two spy novels El traidor de Praga (The traitor from Prague) and Triángulo de espías (Spy Triangle) both with very positive reviews. The involuntary spy is his third spy novel.
